Below are the Qatar Airways carry-on and checked baggage limits for standard economy. Promotional and basic fares are often stricter, so check the rules of your own ticket before you fly.
| Carry-on bag | 50 × 37 × 25 cm, up to 7 kg The same for every economy fare. On flights to and from Brazil the limit is 10 kg. |
| Personal item | allowed On top of the carry-on allowance you may take a small purse or briefcase, a blanket or a coat. |
| Checked bag on the basic fare | up to 20 kg, L+W+H <= 300 cm Economy Lite: 20 kg by weight, with no limit on the number of pieces. To and from Africa and the Americas: one piece of 23 kg. |
| Business Class | carry-on up to 15 kg, 2 pieces, checked bag up to 40 kg |

Cabin bag size is measured over the outside — wheels, handles and pockets included; the sizer at the gate makes no allowances.
Weight is checked at random, but staff can weigh your bag at check-in or at the gate. An overweight cabin bag usually ends up in the hold at the aircraft door, and that costs more than buying baggage in advance.
Liquids in the cabin go in containers of up to 100 ml inside one transparent one-litre bag. That is an airport rule rather than an airline one, and countries apply it differently.
