手提行李按外部尺寸计算，包含轮子、拉杆和外袋；登机口的尺寸框不会通融。
重量为抽查，但值机柜台和登机口都可能称重。超重的手提行李通常会在机门处改为托运，费用高于提前购买行李额。
随身液体须装在不超过 100 毫升的容器中，并放入一个一升的透明袋。这是机场规定而非航空公司规定，各国执行松紧不一。
