Below are the Ryanair carry-on and checked baggage limits for standard economy. Promotional and basic fares are often stricter, so check the rules of your own ticket before you fly.
| Personal item | 40 × 30 × 20 cm Included in every fare and must fit under the seat in front of you; no weight is published. |
| Checked bag on the basic fare | not included in the basic fare, paid separately The Basic fare has no checked bag. Paid options: 10 kg, 20 kg (up to three bags) or 23 kg. |

Cabin bag size is measured over the outside — wheels, handles and pockets included; the sizer at the gate makes no allowances.
Weight is checked at random, but staff can weigh your bag at check-in or at the gate. An overweight cabin bag usually ends up in the hold at the aircraft door, and that costs more than buying baggage in advance.
Liquids in the cabin go in containers of up to 100 ml inside one transparent one-litre bag. That is an airport rule rather than an airline one, and countries apply it differently.
