According European air passengers’ rights rules, airlines have to assist in finding a suitable alternative flight on the same day or provide tickets operated by another airline in case of flights being cancelled. Although EU regulations do not ensure compensations in case a strike is not connected with the airline company. Though if there is a three-hour or more delay they are to provide meals and accommodation of required.
