The passengers had to leave the plane. The plane was left in the runway. But no explanations to the passengers followed from EasyJet. So, they were unaware what was going on. Most of them believed it to be the consequence of bomb threat.

The representative of the airline company commenting on the incident has confirmed it. Having confirmed it the rep for EasyJet has said that when the plane was about to take off form the airport of Dalaman the police boarded the aircraft.

It was done due to the request of the airport security in order to carry out some extra security checks. Moreover, the airline company’s top priority is their passengers’ safety.

Taking into account that the cabin crew exceeded their allowed operating hours after extra checks it was necessary to reschedule the flight causing a longer delay.
