The flight EI3806 operated by AerLingus took off from Cork in the Republic of Ireland in the morning. It was scheduled to head to Edinburgh Airport.I But amid the flight the decision to divert it to Dublin was made. It was due to some technical issues.
The aircraft went through maintenance and the engineers fixed the technical issues. Eventually, the flight departed from the airport for the second time in order to get to its destination.
Though almost at once after the flight took off from Dublin Airport the lightning struck it. As a result of the weather influence, the plane was made to make an emergency landing as well. The captain acted in the interests of safety.
As the flight has been cancelled following these two incidents the passengers of the flight were suggested an alternative way of getting to their destination. The option included available seats on the next flight to Edinburgh.

But shortly after the take-off the lightning struck. And it made divert the plane again and this time it led to the flight cancellation.
