Swoop cancels more flights due to bird strike

The total amount of flight cancellations by the airline is about 30 ones in early July. Swoop proceeds dealing with flight cancellations and delays due to bird strike in London, Ont. and unforeseen check in Winnipeg.

The company informs its customers that on Wednesday it grounded a round trip flight from Hamilton and Abbotsford, B.C. Moreover, it warns its customers that due to unforeseen maintenance of the aircraft in Winnipeg the round trip flight from Hamilton to Las Vegan on August, 15 is cancelled as well.

According to the airline statement they require a couple of days to get their customers to their destinations. As there are no available aircraft at the moment.

In fact, the aircraft check in Winnipeg will influence other routes as well. When the aircraft is maintained it will return to operating flights.
30 cancellations and the ones which followed caused frustration among travellers. Some of them even had to pay their own money not to spoil their travel plans completely.

Passengers arrived at the John C. Munro International Airport. They went it through security. And only afterwards, they got a notification via an e-mail informing them about the flight’s cancellation. The issue was stated as a mechanical problem. So, the notification came two hours before the plane was scheduled to take off.

Swoop explains Squires’s flight was cancelled due to a bird strike in London. The aircraft requires a thorough safety check.
