The starting point of launching the operation of the first Airbus A350-1000 has been announced by British Airways. The aircraft is on schedule to operate the flight from London to Madrid on August, 5. It is going to carry specially invited passengers. As the airline company is planning to throw some kind of celebration.
It will be the first Airbus A350-100 in the feet of the airline company designed with the new Club World cabin. The tickets can already be booked. But passengers will have a possibility to buy only economy class seats. As for the Club World cabin it will be available exclusively for specially invited passengers.
The date and the model of the aircraft have been confirmed but a Boeing 777 is still shown on the schedule. So, it is advisable to keep in mind while booking a flight that something can change.
After the event the company is set to have training flights operated by the Airbus A350-100 connecting London and Madrid. Thus there is no fixed plan for the flight yet.
British Airways is happy to have the aircraft in question in their fleet. It will connect London and Madrid destination for several weeks. Shortly, it will be in the schedule but the aircraft model planned for operating the destination could be susbstituted any time.
For instance, the British Airways Airbus A350 was supposed to start operating flights in October. It was going to head for Canada. But the airline company removed it. And it is going to fly to Dubai but not Toronto.
