Loading...Travellers suffered injures on their way to Australia from Canada. They were flying a flight operated by Air Canada. It happened because of the consequences of severe turbulence experienced by the aircraft.
The representative of Air Canada, Peter Fitzpatrick, has said that approximately 35 passengers are considered to have suffered injures amid the flight. And the incident is believed to be unforeseen, unexpected and out of the blue turbulence.
So, flight AC33 scheduled to fly from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia had to fly to Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in the morning on July, 11.
The rep for Air Canada has added that the aircraft, Boeing 777-200, was amid the flight when it hit the zone of harsh clear air turbulence. In fact, the flight had lasted for about two hours at that time. And the plane was flying past Hawaii.
Moreover, medical personnel was waiting for the aircraft on its arrival at the airport in Honolulu. The companany and airport emplyees assisted the passengers in dealing with the consequences of severe turbulence. Because the airline company’s top priority is the safety of the passengers and crew.The flight in question was carrying 269 passengers. Generally speaking, about 35 travellers experienced minor injuries.
Now the company is dealing with some arrangements. They are providing their passengers with accommodation in Honolulu. Air Canada is considering the options of getting the passengers to their destination as well.
