The fact is that she showed up late. As a result her flight had taken off without her. The incident happened at the Jose Maria Cordova airport in Rionegro, Antioquia. And it was caught on camera.
In the video it is seen that the woman who must have been drunk misbehaves after being notified about missing her flight. Instead of just accepting the fact she started crashing the monitors.
Having spoken to the staff she started picking up the monitor. Then she lifted it high and smashed on the floor. After that she went to another one and did the same. While being filmed she was trying to hide her face.
It has been confirmed by the airline statement that the woman showed up half an hour later than the boarding had been finished. She had booked the flight 8054 heading from Jose Maria Cordova airport to Bogota.
The airport workers were trying to calm her down. Then she was arrested by police. But in some time she was released. Though VivaAir intends to file a lawsuit against the passenger in question.
