Charles de Gaulle International Airport, also known as Roissy — Charles de Gaulle Airport is located 25 km north-east of the city of Paris in the Ile-de-France region. This is the largest airport in France, named after the first president of the Fifth Republic, a French military and political figure Charles de Gaulle.

Bus

The RoissyBus lines allow you to get from Charles de Gaulle airport to the Paris Opera metro station in just 60 minutes. Bus stops are located near terminals 1, 2A and 2C, 2E and 2F, 2D and 3.

Air France cars serve three different lines between the airport and the most important places in Paris:

EasyBus transfer buses operate flights between ShDG airport (second terminal) and Paiža center (Le Palais Royal / Louvre). The company's cars operate 80 flights per day at a price of 2 euros per person. The first bus leaves the city at 5:45 am, and the last one leaves the airport at 1:00 am. The journey time can be approximately from 45 minutes to an hour depending on the intensity of the movement.

Fileo Roissy – these are round-the-clock shuttle buses that, on request, run six lines between the airport and sixteen cities in the departments of Val d'Oise, Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne.

The company Magical Shuttle offers services of delivering passengers to Disneyland Paris and its adjacent hotels. Buses stop near terminals 1, 2E and F, 2A and C, 2D, 2G and 3.

Noctilien night buses go to Corbeil-Essonnes railway station (route 120), La Verriere (route 121) and the Gare de l’Est station (route 140). Buses stop near the first and third terminals, as well as near the TGV high-speed train station at the second terminal.

Route 350 connects the airport with the Gare de l'Est railway junction, and route 351 goes to the station Metro Paris Nation. Stops are located near terminals 1, 2A/C, 2B/D, as well as at TGV and Roissypole stations.

Route 19 buses run from Roissypole station on the RER B line to Torcy station on the RER A line. The fare is from 2 euros.

Car Rental

In terminals 1, 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F you will find racks of the following car rental agencies: Adventage, Alamo, Avis, Badget, Dollar, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, National, Sixt, Trifti and TT Car Transit.

Firefly and Interrent rental agencies have racks only in the first terminal.

Transportation between terminals

The following means of transport carry passengers free of charge throughout the airport:

Minibuses on route N1 transport passengers at 7-15 minutes between terminals 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F, PW car park, station SNCF trains (northbound), Sheraton Hotel and luggage storage. The N2 minibus runs from 5:30 to 23:00 between terminals 2E, 2F and 2G with an interval of 5 minutes.

Five minibuses with color codes (red, green, yellow, blue and orange) carry passengers between terminals for transfer from international to domestic flights. To view the route map, visit the website of the airport ShDG.

CDGVAL – these are free automatic trains of two different lines, connecting the airport terminals, the RER and TGV train stations and car parks. The first line goes between the first and second terminals (connects with TGV trains), the third terminal (connects with the RER-B train), as well as the PR and PX car fleets. The second line carries passengers between terminal 2E and satellite terminals (S3 and S4). From 1 am to 4 am, the work of the service is suspended and supplemented by transfer minibuses for this time.

Taxi

Official licensed taxi services operate from special parking areas outside the baggage claim areas at the exits of terminals 1, 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G and 3. Only official licensed taxi services can take passengers at the airport. They are easily identified by the lights on the roof of the car and the meters inside. For security reasons, it is recommended to use only taxi services from special parking areas and not to accept offers from people who approach you at the airport building. Trains

CDGVAL – these are free, automatic trains of two different lines, connecting the airport terminals, the RER and TGV train stations and car parks. The first line goes between the first and second terminals (connects them with TGV/RER-B trains), the third terminal (connects with the RER-B train), as well as the PR and PX car fleets. The second line carries passengers between terminal 2E and satellite terminals (S3 and S4). From 1 am to 4 am the service is suspended and complemented by transfer minibuses for this time.

Regional RER speed lines B carry passengers between Charles de Gaulle airport, the center of Paris and southern suburbs. RER station stations are located between the first and third terminals, as well as sub-terminals 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F. Trains leave the station every 10-15 minutes. Charles de Gaulle Airport is also served by trains on the northern, western and southern lines of the French TGV high-speed intercity railway system. Art – Works of Parisian masters of art and culture are exhibited in terminals 1 and 2E (halls L and M), as well as on rotating stands representing exhibits from the Louvre, Versailles and many other places.

If you have to sit at the airport for a long time due to bad weather, contact the staff and ask where these beds are. Unfortunately, they are not available for those tourists who just want to spend the night in the terminal building. Due to the large number of stupid messages that we receive in connection with this issue, we consider it necessary to mention that the beds cannot be "reserved" and we do not know where to find them. Currency exchange points – Foreign exchange transactions, money transfers, VAT refunds and many other services are available from the offices of Travelex.
