To bring back stranded holidays the flight in question will have two flights a day to Mallorca, Spanish island.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Malaysian Airlines together with another <strong>39 planes<\/strong> have joined the operation. It is called <strong>\u201cOperation Matterhorn\u201d<\/strong>. The aim is to bring back British tourists to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>British <strong>travel agent Thomas Cook<\/strong>, one of the oldest travel company in the world, went bankrupt on September, 23. As a result, there are approximately 600 000 their tourists in different corners of the world. There are 150 000 British citizens among them. That is why the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the British Department for Transport have launched a rescue campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Having gone bankrupt the travel company resulted in leaving not only tourists but there are 20 000 employees left without a job right now. As the tourists have no idea how to return home United Kingdom Aviation Authority rescue campaign is believed to be the largest during the peacetime in British history. The fleet of about 40 planes will operate daily flights to get the tourists to their destinations.
