An emotional support dog caused injuries to a crew member by biting him on his hand. It has recently happened in the sky. As a result of the situation, the crew member in question had an injure which needed stitches. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Therefore, the Association of Flight Attendants claims it to be necessary to reconsider and regulate disputable standards for travellers who travel with emotional support animals. So, AFA is waiting for the U.S. Department of Transportation to take measures.<\/p>\n

A crew member employed by American Airlines<\/a> on flight 350 by Envoy Air was injured by an emotional support dog. It happened on July, 22.<\/p>\n

The steward didn’t need immediate medical help. On returning to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport<\/a> the steward got five stiches on the injury.
\nAFA expects actions to be taken to prevent further incidents and to ensure passengers and crew\u2019s safety. Although AFA has always stood for the importance of trained animals but at the same time certain regulations need to be brought out in relation to emotional support animals.<\/p>\n

That was not the first incident with emotional animals. For instance, a passenger has filed a lawsuit against Delta Airlines<\/a>. The thing is that a trained support dog of a next-seat passenger injured his face. His face and body injures are quite serious. It happened in 2017.<\/p>\n

The matter with emotional animals on board is controversial and debatable. That is why it needs regulations and improvements.<\/p>\n
