The emergency occurred when the flight was flying over Birmingham and the Midlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The flight operated by <a href=\"https:\/\/flyings.net\/airline\/BE\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Flybe<\/a> took off from <a href=\"https:\/\/flyings.net\/airport\/EDI\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Edinburgh airport<\/a> on July, 22 in the morning. Though, it was initially scheduled to take off from Edinburgh at 6.25 a.m. And it was scheduled to arrive in London at about 8.20 a.m. In fact, the flight departed from the airport at 6.51 a.m. and later the general emergency was announced amid the flight.<\/p>\n<p>According to the flight radars\u2019 reports, it was circling over around the Midlands due to the emergency situation. And the aircraft in question descended from an altitude of approximately 8,000-feet to 0ft in about 30 minutes that morning. The flight is considered to be about an hour in the sky before landing at the airport at 7.51 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>As Flybe has reported it was a captain\u2019s decision to divert the plane and fly to Birmingham. The thing is believed to be a technical issue with the plane. On taking all the precautionary measures the airport arranged emergency vehicles on the standby. The plane landed safely. It taxied to the stand to let 56 passengers get off as usual.<\/p>\n<p>The passengers were assisted with alternative ways of getting to their destination. Some of them were suggested going by coach. While the others were re-checked in for another flight flying to Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>The airline acted in the passengers and crew\u2019s safety interests as their safety is Flybe\u2019s top priority.
