In the interests of safety British Airways<\/a> has decided to cancel flights to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It is going to last for a week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The travellers were going to get on their flight operated by British Airways to Egypt from London\u2019s Heathrow Airport<\/a>. But they were informed about the cancellation. Moreover, no other flight will be able for a week. The airline did not give any details what the security issue is.<\/p>\n

A representative of Cairo airport cannot comment on the cause as there was no notification from British Airways. They know nothing about the changes in question. Moreover, other airlines operate as usual.<\/p>\n

While a British Airways representative says the airline always monitors their security arrangements in all the airports worldwide. Thus taking into consideration everything there was a decision to suspend all the flight to Cairo for a week. It is done as a security precaution. The company considers the passengers and crew\u2019s safety to be their top priority. That is why there will be no flights till it is safe.<\/p>\n

But there are certain complaints from the passengers. They believe that the situation was handled badly. As they managed to check in and no one informed them about the cancellation. Moreover, they were not provided with proper assistance.<\/p>\n

According to the reports of The UK Foreign Office on Friday it is advisable for Britons to abstain from going to Cairo. It is due to a heightened risk of terrorism against aviation.<\/p>\n
