According to the passenger\u2019s report a man died as a result of overdose during the flight operated by Delta Airways<\/a>. The airline company has been criticized for not being able to provide an appropriate medical assistance. It happened due to the absence of Narcan onboard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Delta representative has confirmed that there was a medical emergency during the flight. But at the moment the planes are not provided with Naloxone<\/strong> also known as Narcan. It is a spray which helps during an opioid overdose. But Delta is going to have it in the first aid kits during the flights in autumn.<\/p>\n

It was flight 2531<\/strong> operated by Delta Airways. It took off from Boston<\/strong> and was heading for Los Angeles<\/strong> on July, 13. The passenger was found in the bathroom unconscious and unresponsive. Moreover, there was a needle.<\/p>\n

The passenger Lyman took to Twitter to call for action and encourage airlines to include Narcan into their first aid kits. The message went viral encouraging many people to join.<\/p>\n

Flight attendants are the first to come to rescue in emergencies but they should be properly supplied to be able to save lives.<\/p>\n

All the details of the case cannot be revealed due to passenger privacy rules. But still the issue is obvious.<\/p>\n
