Some aviation ideas include the intention of starting using supersonic airliners again. Is the launch of supersonic air travel is doomed to fail? Or on the contrary is it going to be a hit?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking into account previous experience of supersonic jets it was clear that Concorde used to be the state-of-the-art at that time. But the Air France<\/a> crash was something of an end for it.<\/p>\n

Consequently, Concorde was stopped being used in 2003. And since when no one was even thinking of bringing back supersonic airliners. Moreover, supersonic flights were prohibited in Europe and America because of supersonic booms. The destinations over the ocean which a passenger could cover faster than the speed of sound were left.<\/p>\n

But now modern technologies and innovations allow new possibilities. As a result, new changes are about to come.<\/p>\n

Nevada aircraft manufacturer Aerion together with Lockheed Martin were working out an aircraft able to fly at Mach 1.2 without sonic booms. It is unclear why but Aerion fell out with Lockheed Martin and cooperated with Boeing.<\/p>\n

In fact, Aerion intends to build a twelve seater business jet but not an airliner. It is going to fly 4,200 nautical miles. Its speed will be at Mach 1.4.<\/p>\n

While Colorado\u2019s Boom sets its mind to produce a 55-seater jet. Its ticket price will be equal to the one of a business class.<\/p>\n
