The company and educational institution have made up their minds to collaborate to create something state-of-art in the sphere of aviation. KLM and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) have decided to work together to create something revolutionary, a completely new concept. <\/strong><\/p>\n

They are going to revolutionize a \u201cV\u201d shape plane. There is a passenger cabin, cargo hold and tanks for fuels in the wings. <\/p>\n

Thus, the new shape of the plane gives new possibilities in terms of interior and other conveniences. The idea of serving meal from a buffet is on the point of being realized. <\/p>\n

Moreover, the shape allows to use less fuel<\/strong>, saving up to 20%. And it is in comparison with the latest fuel saving plane, the Airbus A350. KLM is going to present their revolutionary plane at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol<\/a> in October. It will be KLM\u2019s 100th anniversary. <\/p>\n

Notwithstanding the shape wigs have the same span so it will not be a problem to fit into the existing gates and runways at airports. It has about 314 seats. <\/p>\n

For KLM it is a very serious thing to move with the times. So, they consider their collaboration with TU Delft very important and productive. The plane is expected to be used for long distances<\/strong>. That is why passengers\u2019 comfort is of top priority starting from seats and up to its lightest weight. <\/p>\n

They teamed up to design energy efficient plane and to meet passengers\u2019 need and demands. <\/p>\n
